Plan
Log a team meeting
Keep what a team or stakeholder meeting decided, where people disagreed, and the ideas and feedback it raised, each with the words that were said.
How to do it
- Record the meeting, or export its transcript from Zoom, Teams or Meet.
- Pick the cards the meeting discussed as inputs.
- Name the voices, so every decision and view says who it came from.
- Check the decisions: only what was agreed, not what was suggested.
Tip. Meeting notes record what the team thinks. They never count as evidence about users, so a view voiced in a meeting is a question for research, not an answer.
What you need
Nothing: this is a starting point.
It is better with: Decision, Brief, Research questions, Insight, Persona, Journey map, Concept, Prototype, Test report, Spec or Readout.
What you get: Meeting notes
A meeting notes template has these sections:
- Summary

- Ideas
- Feedback on the work
